The carbon electrode is made of low-ash anthracite, metallurgical coke, pitch coke and petroleum coke as raw materials. It is composed of a certain proportion and particle size. Ordinary power graphite electrodes allow the use of graphite electrodes with a current density of less than 17A/cm2, which are mainly used in ordinary power electric furnaces for steelmaking, silicon making, and yellow phosphorus making.

Anti-oxidation coating The surface of the graphite electrode is coated with a protective layer (graphite electrode antioxidant) that is both conductive and resistant to high temperature oxidation, which reduces electrode consumption during steelmaking, prolongs the service life of the electrode, and reduces the electrode's power consumption.

High-power graphite electrodes allow the use of graphite electrodes with a current density of 18A/cm2, which are mainly used in high-power electric arc furnaces for steelmaking.
